X Country

X Country

On Wednesday the 18th of May it was Loburn schools X Country day. When I arrived I had a very bad surprise…… I had got stung by a Bee and I quickly pulled it out and it didn't swell much, I was lucky. After that Harry and I spent our time playing with my puppy, Regin. And we were cheering for other people.

Before I know it Harry my year 7 friend was lining up to run the 2.5 km race and I was standing that the border of tape cheering him on. Then the year 8 girls were on the start line and next minute I was there myself and the clapper, clapped and I was of running faster than I should be but then slowed to a pasted jog. The hardest part about the race for me was running up the hill and running down the hill. The best part (apart from the finish) was running in the forest.

As I ran around the last lap I almost got pasted Jack but then he……. well he ran away and at that point I made a promise to myself and that was to beat Jack in tri schools if I got there. And then I pasted the finish line

  2. Well done Riely, once again good use of personal voice to make the audience understand the event from your perspective. Don't forget to use read write to play back your writing. This helps to identify where punctuation is needed and if words may be spelt incorrectly.
